About this Dog
Damon, the most handsome boy with his badger markings, and the best facial expressions! He is curious, silly, happy and attentive all at one time. Damon absolutely loves people and is looking for his PYRfect family to just “be” with, whether that is going for a long walk, a ride in the car, vacation, playing with his person, or hanging out under a shade tree, in front of the fire on a cold day or the air conditioning on those warm summer days. Damon is house broken, walks well on a leash, is happy to “kennel” in a crate, hops right in the car for a ride, and loves grooming sessions! Damon is an intelligent boy and would love to show you how well he will “sit,” “down,” and even give his paw for a treat. Cats in your home? - Not a problem, as he will politely approach, smell and then go about his day. He is truly accepting of all creatures! He enjoys other dogs and will run on short spurts and wrestle and play with them! A female canine sibling would be great, but he would also do well as an only dog if his person is home more often than not, and promises an occasional play date with doggy friends! Damon, like many Pyrenees, can be a little shy when a new person approaches but once introduced, he will wag his tail for his new friend. A yard with a secure fence is a must as he does enjoy a roll in the grass and patrolling the fence line; but then is happy to come hang with his person laying at their feet waiting for them to do their next thing. If you have large breed experience and are looking for your perfect side kick, Damon is your man!
