About this Cat
Dunkin is 12 years old and weighs 12 lbs. He's neutered, is up to date on his vaccinations, is microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, as his veterinary records substantiate. Dunkin is dominant with his cat siblings but is sweet as can be with humans. When Dunkin is placed in his crate to ride in the vehicle, he is noisy, but there are no problems putting him in the crate. Dunkin 's guardian states the reason she has made the difficult decision to rehome him: " He needs to be an only cat and we have other cats. He is a dominant cat but sweet as can be with humans. I love him very much but he doesn’t have the best quality of life with other cats. " Dunkin's guardian provides a brief medical history: " Has had history of GI upset but nothing major. Had 2 episodes of this. " Dunkin's guardian states the following about children: Dunkin has lived with children, ages 7 and 11 years old and his guardian recommends his living with children, stating Dunkin is very gentle with them and is very affectionate. Dunkin's guardian states the following about dogs: Dunkin lives with dogs and his guardian recommends his living with dogs because he has never had an issue and is not afraid of them. Dunkin's guardian states the following about cats: Dunkin lives with a cat and since he marks and fights with his feline sibling, his guardian doesn't recommend his living with cats. Dunkin's guardian further describes him as: Couch potato Friendly Likes to be touched Affectionate Likes women - Dunkin's guardian explains if he may or may not like men: "It’s hard to say for sure honestly. He does not like my husband and I am not sure if it’s a jealousy thing because of me or if he doesn’t like men at all. I had Dunkin prior to meeting my husband and he hasn’t liked him since the beginning. He’s not aggressive towards him or anything just runs from him. I would say it would be possible for him to meet a male applicant and see how it goes." Dunkin's guardian describes his future ideal home: " Would make a good companion for an older person/couple or someone who would make him the only cat. Preferably a couple as he was not a fan of my husband when he moved in (still isn’t), wants to be the center of someone’s attention. Very sweet and affectionate. As I stated before I love him very much and it breaks my heat to have to rehome him but it’s what is best for his quality of life. ." Rehoming Fee: $50 Location: Aberdeen, MD
