About this Cat
Steve has recovered from a broken leg that was evaluated by Dr Goring at Sixth St Vet. More info in his personality traits. Meet Steve. Steve is a DSH White & Orange Tabby neutered male that was born about April 20, 2022. Steve was found crawling out of the woods just hours from death. This poor boy had been savagely attacked and left for dead. He was so emaciated, broken & injured that he was too weak to eat. Thankfully a wonderful couple found him & brought him to a vet. He was covered in abscesses, emaciated (he only weighed 1.5lbs at 4 months old) and had a broken leg. Steve showed his moxie by bouncing back in just weeks to have a wonderful recovery. Steve has been evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon as his leg had already healed by the time he was ready for surgery. Since surgery is painful and traumatic the orthopedic surgeon recommended his leg be left as is since it doesn’t cause any problems. Steven now has one leg a bit shorter than the other but he gets around just fine and can jump and play like any other cat. He can never be declawed & must live inside but he has no issues. Steve is a laid back chill cat who has already perfected the art of an 8 hour nap. He craves affection and will sit & snuggle for pets for hours. He has perfect house manners & always eats all his canned food & uses the box. Steve has a tiny bit of PTSD from his attack & may take just a few minutes to acclimate to new and/or loud situations. Once he realizes he is safe & loved, Steve is ready to roll. Steve currently lives with several other kittens. Steve is used to dogs but finds them distasteful. He would do best with dogs that ignored him. DOB: 4/20/22 To meet, please fill out an application at our website www.fcocinc.org

Adopt Steve and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Steve's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Steve's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Steve, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Steve's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Steve was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Steve’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Steve’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Steve’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
