About this Cat
Phoebe was born about October 3, 2019 would be our guess by looking at her teeth. However, we were told by a neighbor that she may be 4-5 years old. The story goes that a woman passed away suddenly in September of 2021 leaving her young adult son alone in the city of Buffalo rented home with the two cats. Then a girlfriend moved in and then they both moved out summer of 2022 leaving the cats behind. What good kitties as they continued to use the litter box that was becoming quite full by the time the owner of the home visited and was so kind.....that he opened a window so the cats would escape - but they didn't so then they were tossed out on the street! Then comes along a kind neighbor who contacts one of Joyful's very dedicated volunteers and thankfully we had room to take these kitties in quickly. Phoebe did well with her other cats and her small dogs. Phoebe travels well and is adjusting here quite quickly. Update from her foster mom: Phoebe lives to love and be loved! Her favorite thing to do is lay on her foster mom's lap/ chest getting and giving love and purring up a storm! All you have to do is look at Phoebe and you get instant " elevator butt" and loud purring! She gets along with the resident cats in the house, but hasn't picked a buddy. She would be happy as an only cat, or with kitty siblings. Phoebe is looking for someone who will love her and help her to trim some much needed weight off of her beautiful form! Phoebe will adjust very quickly to a new home and new surroundings, because she doesn't want to waste any time losing out on love! The adoption fee for this kitty is $75.00. A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Adopt Phoebe and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Phoebe's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Phoebe's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Phoebe, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Phoebe's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Phoebe was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Phoebe’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Phoebe’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Phoebe’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
