About this Cat
Due to technical issues with some adoption sites, please email us directly at [email protected] to inquire about adopting or to ask questions. Please include the animal's name in the email. My name is Astrid. I was born in October, 2021. I have a unique coat color. I am a quiet and shy girl but very active. My foster moms said I have come a long way. My brother and I take turns staying at each of our two-foster mom's homes. That is so we can get used to different surroundings. I used to be growly and hissy. I am still timid, and on the shy side. I would do best with a quiet home, a house without kids. I need someone who has patience in wanting me to interact. It might take a little time for me to feel comfortable and hang out with you. I have been with other fosters kitties of all ages, but I was not nice to most of them. It would be great if I were adopted with my brother (John). We are so much alike. We have fun together. We like to play with our toys, and almost everything else(lol). We love to sit in the windows to bird watch and get crazy trying to catch a fly. If you are in the kitchen or eating something while you are watching tv, we will meow at you. (That is telling you we want a bit to eat.) We are both easy to take care of.**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**

Adopt Astrid and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Astrid's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Astrid's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Astrid, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Astrid's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Astrid was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Astrid’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Astrid’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Astrid’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
