About this Dog
Poppy is a very sweet and playful mixed breed. She was adopted from PAWS at 4 months old, but was returned to us 2 years later. We are happy she is back with us because it means that we can find the home and family that she was meant for. At her previous home she was not allowed in the house, luckily she has a thick coat of fur that kept her warm. Her ideal future home is one where she is welcomed inside and is regarded as a true part of the family. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and available. Poppy has done well with adults, both men and women. Her ideal home is one with respectful children as she has made it clear that she wants a family to take care of. She loves being groomed and has shown wonderful recall skills, and does very well on a leash. She has not made any messes in her kennel and waits patiently to be let out before doing her business. She has gotten along well with the younger dogs at the shelter and shown respect to the older dogs. She will need her own space at mealtime, and will do best in a home where she can be queen. Here at PAWS, we are all about second chances. We know that the right family is out there for her, she will remain safe at the shelter with us until the right fit comes along.

Adopt Poppy and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Poppy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Poppy's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Poppy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Poppy's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Poppy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Poppy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Poppy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Poppy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
