About this Rabbit
Hey there, it's me, GARFIELD! Partner in crime with my buddy Oscar. We've been through it all together, spending our first four years in a hutch outside. But now? Indoor bunny life is where it's at, especially with our amazing foster parents! They've been working tirelessly with us, helping us adjust to this new indoor world. Litter box habits? We've made huge strides. We're now experts at peeing 100% in the litter box - no accidents here! I'm the brave one out of the duo, but like Oscar, I take a little time to warm up to new people. Treats from our foster dad's hand? You betcha. We'll even hop right up to him if he's sitting down. But as soon as a hand reaches out towards us, we scatter. We like our space, you know? Zooming around is our favorite pastime. We're super active bunnies who love our tunnel, Snak Shak, and run time. And chewing? Oh, we're experts. Bunny-proofing is a must! Exploring and standing on our hind legs to see everything? That's our jam. Our foster dad says we're the standiest bunnies he's ever met! Now, we're not sure how we'd do around dogs or cats since we haven't been around them. And our previous experience with children wasn't the best, so an adult-only home would be ideal. When it's mealtime, we come running. Pellets are our absolute favorite, but we won't touch our salads until all the pellets are gone. And hay? Well, let's just say we're big fans, even if we do tend to make a mess with it. But hey, why not have fun along with eating? We've come a long way on our journey, and we know we'll continue to thrive together in a loving, patient home. So, what do you say? Will you consider adding Oscar and me to your family? We promise, we'll bring lots of love and joy into your home. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Garfield and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Garfield's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Garfield's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Garfield, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Garfield's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Garfield was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Garfield’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Garfield’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Garfield’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
