About this Dog
Wally is about 10 years old and 60 pounds. Wally was adopted last year and it was going so well, they loved him and he loved them. He especially loved it when the grandson came to visit. Due to a terminal medical diagnosis for the adopter, Wally is back with us looking for a forever home this time, we will consider foster-to-adopt. Wally gets along with humans of all ages, just as ready to play as he is to settle down and cuddle. He would do great in a multi-generational house. He alerts to new people, and he might look tough, but it doesn't take much to win over this big lovebug. Wally likes to take his time on walks, enjoying all the wonderful smells and sights. On longer walks, he and his foster parent have a compromise where Wally gets to sniff at his leisure for the first half, then they pick up the pace for the latter half. Wally went to training to work on his impulse control when small animals like squirrels dart by (Wally is a regular at Candlestick Point), and Wally is doing great. This pup is perfectly potty-trained! He even understands the command to "do your business" in the backyard, and hasn't had a single accident at his foster home. Wally is a patient pup, and has been very cooperative with all sorts of indignities like grooming and eardrops. Wally is a very smart dog, and eager to please. Left alone, he generally does well with a frozen kong and space to roam, but he'd much prefer to be with people. He is not an off-leash candidate and should not be in a home with other small pets, but should do OK with a female dog about his size. If you are interested in adopting or just meeting Wally, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process/ . One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the Northern California.

Adopt Wally and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Wally's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Wally's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Wally, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Wally's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Wally was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Wally’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Wally’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Wally’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
