About this Dog
** Requires a dog-experienced adopter ** NAME: LAMBERT OF KAER MORHEN LITTER: LAMBERT is part of "THE WITCHER" litter AGE/GENDER: Born 9.15.21, Male BREED: Mexican Street Dog (possibly cattle dog as well) TEMPERAMENT: Playful and energetic WEIGHT: 39 pounds HOUSE TRAINING: Doing great on a consistent basis! CRATE TRAINING: Good! He eats and sleeps in his crate without issue. OTHER DOGS: Good! He definitely enjoys the company of other dogs but he can be a little particular about his friends. While he is great with 80% of dogs of all sizes, sometimes there are some dogs that his energy level annoys. Right now his best friends are an adult female husky and a young male shepherd/pit bull mix. CATS: Unknown. CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older. ADOPTION DONATION: $550.00 HEALTH: LAMBERT is healthy! He is altered, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. HISTORY: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find him a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Lambert is a joyous, playful pup! He loves all toys, and often likes to play with two at a time! He is a rambunctious player and is often found doing zoomies in the yard while chasing toys and finding sticks. He makes all sorts of funny sounds when he is playing with his dog friends or really getting into his toys. When he takes a break from playing, he loves attention from his humans. He enjoys pets and will happily accept invitations to snuggle. He's working on being calm with scary things like leaf blowers, loud noises and noisy cars. He has learned lots of commands: sit, down, wait, place, look, touch and door manners. He has a sweet demeanor, playful spirit, and soulful eyes. He is a goofball who makes us laugh every day! He is a handful (in the nicest way possible!) so he will need an experienced dog owner. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dog's particular needs. Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization that is run by volunteers. Motley Zoo does not have a brick and mortar shelter location. Instead, all our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. Please email [email protected] and request an adoption application and we will work toward approving you as an adopter with our rescue so that we can set a time for you to meet!
