About this Dog
Becky and her four 6-week-old puppies were owner surrendered to Harris County Animal Shelter in June 2021. Becky was transferred to Emmy's Hope Rescue and her pups went to another Rescue. Becky was very shy and untrusting when she first came to the Rescue. As she learned the daily routine and began to meet and mingle with the small dogs, she slowly gained confidence and came out of her shell. She now has a few doggie friends that she likes to run and play with. However, she is still very shy and untrusting with new dogs and people she does not know. She really enjoys sitting close to her foster mom and being petted. Becky does best in a familiar routine, where she knows what comes next. She needs a loving and very patient family who has the time and is willing to take things slow. Ideally, Becky would probably do best if she could be the only dog, in a quiet home, with just one person. Estimated birth date: June 2019 Approximate weight: 20 lbs. If you would like to meet Becky, please call or text Stephanie at: 281-622-6549. *** ADOPTION CRITERIA *** To qualify to adopt from Emmy's Hope Rescue, YOU MUST HAVE ALL 4 QUALIFIERS: 1. Live in the Houston area (no more than an hour's drive away). 2. Be 21 years or older. 3. Have a fenced yard. Fencing must touch the ground all the way around the yard. 4. We are looking for experienced pet owners. You must have at least 3 years of good vet history, with your current and / or past dogs. Your vet record should show that you take your dog(s) to the vet annually for an exam and to update their Rabies and DHPP (distemper, parvo) vaccinations and heartworm testing, and that you purchase a monthly heartworm preventative.

Adopt Becky and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Becky's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Becky's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Becky, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Becky's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Becky was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Becky’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Becky’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Becky’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
