About this Bird
Update: Casca is male & he’s now married to Jonesey who divorced her husbird to marry him! This is Casca, a feisty survivor who nearly walked in through her rescuer's back door! This big, beautiful King pigeon was exhausted with hunger and thirst when a Palomacy volunteer arrived, but perked up fast once we provided food and water. Casca is not yet used to being handled or hand fed, but we think a patient caretaker could change that quickly. We think Casca is a hen because a male began his attempts to woo her as soon as she joined Palomacy's foster aviary at Ploughshares Nursery in Alameda. This sweet bird is so ready to be given the love and care she deserves! Please apply to adopt http://www.pigeonrescue.org/birds/apply-to-foster-or-adopt/
