About this Cat
ACAMPO, CA (near Lodi): Hi there! My name is Gretchen. Did you know that the name comes from the word meaning “pearl?” As you know, pearls are quite precious, and I’d like to think that I am pretty precious — plus I have the cutest little pearl-shaped white spot on my nose. I also have a super cool “ticked” coat with fabulous brown tabby markings. I’m a pretty mellow kitty most of the time and like to hang out with my foster mom - except for during playtime! Then I can pounce with the best of them, just watch: https://youtu.be/5zxIPWE0_CQ I adapt fairly quickly to a new place, especially if you pet me, which I really love! I love to play with all sorts of toys and enjoy romping with other cats. I would also be fine as the only kitty in the house. Really, as long as you pet me, I’m a happy camper. I was born in August 2019 and have been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FELV, and am up to date on all my shots. I am living in a private foster home so if you would like more information, please text or call Karen at 209-329-2001 and she can tell you all about me. You can fill out an adoption application online at https://forms.gle/obNDXM5Q4SbNNDH67 and once you are approved, we can meet via video chat!

Adopt Gretchen and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gretchen's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Gretchen's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Gretchen, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Gretchen's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gretchen was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gretchen’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Gretchen’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gretchen’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
