About this Dog
Magnolia is a happy but nervous girl that would do best in a low-key home environment with a confident dog near her size to show her the ropes, as well as a human that is around most of the time. Magnolia was surrendered to Last Hope for life saving surgery after she ingested a piece of blanket that had been left in her kennel with her. So, while she is kennel trained, extra care needs to be taken when she is left on her own as she will eat/chew things she should not have. Magnolia is very nervous in new situations and around new people and may exhibit reactive behavior (barking, growling, lip curling and possibly lunging) if not properly introduced and managed, she does seem to like women better than men. Magnolia isn't a lapdog, but she wants to be with her person all the time! She seems to get along with most other dogs and is going to be starting doggy day care soon so she has someone to play with. She tolerates the cat in her foster home, but probably couldn't be trusted to be left alone with her. Cats are too unpredictable for Magnolia's taste! Magnolia likes to go for car rides, loves going for walks, and behaves beautifully on a leash. She is not a fit in a home with children. Magnolia's history includes having been heartworm positive, so it is strongly recommended that she stay on preventatives year round for life. Magnolia's adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives plus a free basic obedience course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. Last Hope does require that applicants who have pets keep as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and a home visit. Please submit an adoption application for consideration.

Adopt Magnolia and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Magnolia's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Magnolia's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Magnolia, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Magnolia's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Magnolia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Magnolia’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Magnolia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Magnolia’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
