About this Dog
Meet Chip! 12-year-old Chip became a Frosted Face in January 2021 through our Final Wish program after his mom passed away . He was adopted in 2021 and returned to us two years later in 2023 due to no fault of his own. We were heartbroken that sweet Chip experienced losing his family and home again. Chip is a volunteer favorite, and he has been on many outings, including to restaurants, parks, pumpkin patches, and the mall to meet Santa! He earns rave reviews for being being fun, sweet, cuddly, and adventure-loving. Chip also enjoys going on our weekly FFF hikes and is great on leash, calm in the car, and full of pep! Wondering what Chip would be like in a home? We know! He has been on several two-week Frosted Flings, and currently lives in a Foster home. Chip's behavior in a home setting gets 5-stars, too! Here is what we know: * Chip is a love bug! He enjoys cuddling, giving kisses, and sitting on laps. He nudges your hand to ask for pets. * Chip is good with dogs of all sizes. Since he has always lived with another dog, he would likely do best in a home with another mild-mannered dog. Chip likes having a sibling to keep him company and to help him be more confident. * Chip loves to go on outings and is a very good boy when out in public. He tends to draw a lot of attention because he is so well-behaved and handsome! * Chip is house-trained and has had zero accidents in my foster home. * Chip understandably likes his people to be home with him and will cry for a few minutes at first, but then settles down. * Chip barks at the cats in his foster home. He doesn't seem to know what to make of them! Chip's Foster Mom shares: "Chip is soooo sweet and loves giving kisses. He becomes immediate friends with anyone he meets! Chip gets so excited about going for walks and helps by putting his head through the leash. He walks so nicely, has perfect energy, and zero reaction to other dogs we see along the way. Chip was in his element when we went to a cafe and got pizza. He was so friendly and made tons of friends both humans and dogs. He even got invited to another pup's birthday party! When we went to the farmers' market, Chip made a friend and got a free bag of jerky! At home, he is a cuddle bug who loves taking naps on the couch." If you are looking for a fun and loving best friend that you can take along everywhere you go, he might be the one for you! Adopt Chip and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Chip's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Chip's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Chip, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Chip's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chip was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chip’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.

We want the Chip’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chip’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
