About this Cat
Meet Puma! This adorable girl is a little timid when you first meet her, but once she warms up she is super sweet, and very playful. Se is 2 years old. She is special need and needs to be an only cat or in a household with other Feline Coronoa virus positive cats. She tested positive for Feline Coronavirus (the testing that was done to identify this virus is specific to feline enteric coronavirus and does not detect SARS-CoV-2, the causative agent for COVID-19. Feline enteric coronavirus is species-specific and does not infect humans) Although she tested positive at her re-check appointment, the virus should not affect her longevity or quality of life (she is no longer experiencing any clinical signs), however it is recommended that she go to a home with no other cats, with no intention of getting more cats in the home. Coronavirus is mostly common as a kitten virus, and according to the vet most kittens by 9 months - 1 year test negative. However, for some reason Puma has not out grown it. We just had her test in July 2022 and she is still positive. We have not seen her around dogs or kids so unsure how she would do with those. This animal is current on all age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been FIV/LeLV tested (negative), microchipped, and on flea prevention. The adoption fee is $50.00 If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an application at ajssearchandrescue.org

Adopt Puma and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Puma's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Puma's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Puma, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Puma's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Puma was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Puma’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Puma’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Puma’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
