About this Bird
Update 2/2723: Pidgy lost his never recovered wife Carmel to her sharpshooter fly out. He’s been single for a year but he & little Beanie baby were love at first sight & are very happily married & honeymooning so cute! They are an incredibly sweet couple & would make wonderful house pigeons. Update 6/26/2020: This week Pidgy married Tippler pigeon Carmel and he is also going to have a leg reconstruction surgery that we hope will allow him to bear weight and even walk again. We are holding our best thoughts for a good outcome for sweet Pidgy! This brave, gentle racing survivor came to Palomacy badly injured and incredibly lucky to be alive. Pidgy was struck by a hawk and dropped into traffic where a kind person pulled over to assist. Pidgy's rescuer found Palomacy and we are stepping in to provide medical help and supportive foster care, hoping that Pidgy will have a full recovery! Please apply to adopt http://www.pigeonrescue.org/birds/apply-to-foster-or-adopt/
