About this Dog
Animal Profile: Yogi is an adorable terrier mix, estimated to be around 6-7 years old and just under 30lbs. He was originally rescued from Texas at the age of ~2, and recently re-joined our rescue when his family could no longer care for him. Foster Updated: Meet Yogi! This sweet boy quickly captures your heart with his soulful eyes. He has been getting settled into his foster home and doing well. Yogi enjoys the companionship of other dogs, even pups larger than him. Yogi isn't overly interested in engaging in play, but doesn't mind the companionship of other calm pups. That being said, he also wouldn't mind being the only dog in the home and soaking up all the attention. He bonds hard to his people and gets excited to be around his humans! He also loves sniffing around and exploring outdoors. We are continuing to work with Yogi to get him a little more confident on leash and in the outside world. He can be a bit anxious, and would thrive in a calm household. One of Yogi's challenges have been his mobility, and he doesn't currently use stairs. Yogi would thrive in a home where he didn't have to utilize stairs to get around, and does best with carpet or other floor coverings that aren't too slippery. Yogi is currently on a healthy diet and joint supplements to help support his mobility, but jumping onto surfaces or hopping up stairs just isn't in his wheelhouse at this time. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $500, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue. Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued from euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in Texas and joined us from Saving Our Strays rescue partner. This dog will be available for adoption in Seattle once evaluated.

Adopt Yogi and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Yogi's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Yogi's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Yogi, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Yogi's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Yogi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Yogi’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Yogi’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Yogi’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
