About this Dog
Chasqui was found in a deserted area in the Kingdom of Bahrain (next to Saudi Arabia) when he was only 2 months old. He was alone, dehydrated, starving and malnourished, but otherwise in good health and happy. An English couple found him, took him home and gave him all that he could ever want for. But sadly Chasqui developed some fear reactivity towards both humans and other dogs that he didn't know and with a new baby on the way, he had to leave that home. FastLuckily a friend of theirs was an experienced rescuer and massive animal lover, and so she relentlessly did all that she could to find Chasqui the chance at a new life. Through her network she managed to find Save a Life Animal Rescue Cheshire who so kindly agreed to take him in. Chasqui arrived to the UK on the 28th May. Chasqui is a very loving dog, to those he trusts. He likes to sit on you and will nestle into your lap for a cuddle. He is a bit of a cuddle bug. He is always very excited to see you, especially when you have been away from the house. He loves to play ball but doesn’t know how to share so its a bit one sided! E.g., he never gives you the ball back. He can take two balls in his mouth at once and he’ll try for a 3rd jus so you can’t get them! That said he loves the interaction. He loves to play Tug of War with a rope toy, that’s his favourite. He’ll play that all day every day. He also loves to snooze close to wherever you are. But Chasqui is also currently a very fearful dog and so he needs a foster/permanent home with an experienced dog person who will work with him daily to alleviate his fear. He has received obedience training and so he understands basic commands such as sit and climb and he walks well on the lead. But he is triggered easily and will react.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Chasqui's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chasqui was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chasqui’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Chasqui’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chasqui’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
