About this Dog
Shadow is very loving and has a very eager to please personality. He has had regular vet visits and vaccinations throughout his life. He has also been neutered. Shadow is about 45 pounds and 3 to 4 years old. Shadow does very well with his owners and children. We have three kids our youngest being two and he does well to give them space and be gentle with them. He can be aggressive with strangers especially if not accompanied by his owner. Although gentle with most people Shadow has a strong prey drive. This is our reason for needing to regretfully rehome him. We have many other animals and it has become too difficult to constantly keep everything else separated from Shadow. Shadow does okay with other dogs and lives in the same pin as a rat terrier about 10 pounds and they get along great. Shadow would make a great dog for a family as the only pet, or a home with only equals or larger size dogs.

After verifying the adoption, Shadow's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Shadow was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Shadow’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Shadow’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
