About this Dog
Snoopy’s journey has been anything but easy. Found as an injured stray, he was taken to BARC and placed on “owner hold” because he had a microchip. But no one came for him. His family knew where he was and simply chose not to reclaim him. When we first met Snoopy, he was matted to the skin, packed with stickers and thorns, and suffering from a bulging eye injury. Even the simple act of being leashed caused him to scream in fear and pain. No precautions were taken to protect his injured eye, and Snoopy—confused, hurting, and alone—scratched at it until it ruptured. After six long days in the shelter, we were finally able to bring Snoopy into rescue. He went straight to our veterinarian, where it was determined that the eye could not be saved. He has since had surgery and is now beginning his recovery in a safe, quiet place. We don’t yet know the full story of who Snoopy is beyond his survival, but we do know this: he is brave, resilient, and deserving of a life where he will never again be abandoned or left to suffer. For now, we’ll give him the time, care, and gentle patience he needs to heal—both inside and out.

100% of Snoopy's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Snoopy.
Adopt Snoopy and Receive Snoopy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Snoopy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Snoopy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Snoopy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Snoopy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Snoopy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Snoopy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Snoopy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Snoopy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
