About this Dog
Harley is a quiet, thoughtful soul whoâs still trying to make sense of her new reality. She was surrendered to our shelter because her previous owner couldn't afford her medical care. Sheâs adjusting to shelter life the best she can, but itâs clear sheâs feeling overwhelmed. This beautiful girl is dealing with some non-contagious skin issues, but underneath it all, sheâs a sweet and sensitive dog just looking for a calm place to land. Sheâs shy and timid, especially around loud noises or sudden movements, and she tends to keep her distance when sheâs unsure. Once leashed, she walks beautifully - no pulling, no fuss. Harley enjoy peaceful walks and some quiet time to sniff and explore on her own. She'll take treats from your hand with a gentle touch and, when sheâs feeling safe, will come a little closer to say hello. Her previous owner said sheâs housebroken, good with other dogs and cats, and protective of her people. While she can be great around kids per her previous owner, sheâll do best in a home that understands her boundaries and gives her space when she needs it.Harley isnât the kind of dog who will immediately jump into your lap - but she is the kind who just might slowly inch her way into your heart. She needs patience, understanding, and a safe environment where she can truly decompress and blossom.

100% of HARLEY's balance will be sent to whoever adopts HARLEY.
Adopt HARLEY and Receive HARLEY's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, HARLEY's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is HARLEY's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the HARLEY, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming HARLEY's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and HARLEY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, HARLEY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the HARLEY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, HARLEY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
