Meet Cain! This sweet, laid-back guy found his way to our shelter after being abandoned with his buddies, Chester (A049080) and Casper (A049082). Heâs an easygoing guy who loves to explore the play yard at his own pace, sniffing around and enjoying his time outdoors. Cain is calm on the leash, never pulling and always happy to stroll at a relaxed pace. Heâs not super interested in toys, but he does enjoy a good treat and takes them gently, showing his polite nature. While he doesnât know any tricks just yet, when itâs time to leave the play yard, heâll sit automatically to have the leash put on him like heâs had some training before! He has a low energy level and is content to either be pet or entertain himself. Heâs also got a little mark around his neck, likely from wearing a collar for a long time, which suggests he may have been someoneâs companion in the past. Cain seems to be potty trained, making him an even easier companion to bring into your home.¡Conoce a CaÃn! Tiene poca energÃa y se conforma con que lo acaricien o se entretenga solo. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and CAIN was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, CAIN’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the CAIN’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, CAIN’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
