Meet Stormy. Sheâs ready to shower you with love and attentionâ¦or be showered herself. Sheâs happy either way! This sweet girl was surrendered to our shelter by her owner on 8/15/24. Her skin was irritated and red, and she had lots of generalized alopecia (missing hair). Her skin is doing so much better now, but sheâs still a little light on fur. Stormy, who always likes to look on the sunny side of things, prefers to think of it as her signature style. Sheâs a very sweet girl, and easy to handle. Sheâs great on a leash and mostly calm with a lower energy level, though she does have a playful spark every now and then! Sheâs done well around other dogs in shelter. She mostly keeps things chill around them and keeps to herself, but she doesnât mind the company! She also takes treats gently from your hand and will happily sit on command to earn one.Conoce a Stormy. Está lista para colmarte de amor y atención... o para que se la colmes a ella. ¡Es feliz de todas formas! Esta dulce perrita fue entregada a nuestro refugio por su dueña el 15/8/2024. TenÃa la piel irritada y enrojecida, y mucha alopecia generalizada (falta de pelo). Su piel está mucho mejor ahora, pero aún tiene un poco menos de pelo. Stormy, a quien siempre le gusta ver el lado positivo de las cosas, prefiere considerarlo su estilo caracterÃstico. Es una perrita muy dulce y fácil de manejar. Se porta genial con la correa y suele ser tranquila, con un nivel de energÃa más bajo, ¡aunque de vez en cuando tiene un toque juguetón! Se lleva bien con otros perros del refugio. Generalmente se mantiene tranquila con ellos y es muy reservada, ¡pero no le molesta la compañÃa! También acepta golosinas con cuidado de tu mano y se sienta feliz cuando se le ordena para ganarse una.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and STORMY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, STORMY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the STORMY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, STORMY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
