Hi, I’m Kia! I’m a petite, 17-pound bundle of sweetness looking for my forever family. My foster says I’m an absolute gem—I’m crate-trained, potty-trained, and as I came in with 2 other dogs and have lived with cats. I love my several walks a day with my foster mom. In fact, I walk beautifully on a leash and even know how to use a doggy door. I’m looking for a loving home that enjoys a mix of fun and adventure sprinkled with a dash of relaxation. In true Jack Russell mix my personality is a mix between energetic, intelligent, athletic and fearless. I'm a confident girl so I would do best as the only dog in the home or another confident dog as I tend to be a bit bossy with other dogs. I require a fenced-in yard where I can get my zoomies out around safely, but after, I also love cozy downtime with my humans. I am free- spirited and can be a bit of an escape artist, so I’ll need a family that keeps an eye on outside doors and fence gates to make sure I stay safe. Could I be the perfect match for you? For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kia’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kia’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
