Cassius is a medium-sized bundle of joy with a big heart and an even bigger love for treats. This happy-go-lucky pup is eager to please, especially if thereâs a snack involvedâhe already knows how to sit on command (though he doesnât always hold it for long!) and takes treats ever so gently from your hand. He's been working on learning to lay on command, though he could just be following the direction of the treat! Cassius has a playful, puppy-like energy and is still learning the ropes. He gets excited easilyâexpect some joyful jumping and a little leash nibbling when heâs extra revved upâbut he settles down nicely after burning off some energy. Once he's had a chance to explore, he walks much more calmly on leash. Heâs very affectionate and loves being pet, especially those magical butt scratches. Cassius has done well with other dogs in shelter playgroups and would likely enjoy a doggie playmate with a similar energy level. Heâll thrive in a home that can match his enthusiasm. He has been patiently waiting for a home for over a year now. Through it all, heâs stayed cheerful, affectionate, and full of life. Heâs still dreaming of the day he gets to curl up in a placeâand with a personâhe can finally call his own.Cassius es un cachorro de tamaño mediano lleno de alegrÃa, con un gran corazón y un amor aún mayor por las golosinas. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and CASSIUS was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, CASSIUS’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the CASSIUS’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, CASSIUS’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
