This 3-year-old sweetheart has been patiently waiting for a home since June 17, 2023, and he's more than ready to find his person.When Bucky first comes out of his kennel, youâll get a glimpse of his pent up playful energy â he needs a moment to get the zoomies out of his system. Give him a few minutes to shake off the shelter wiggles, and he settles into a sweet, steady companion. He loves treats (and takes them oh-so-gently), enjoys a good zoom around the play yard, and is a big fan of being pet. Heâll calmly stay by your side for as long as you're willing to dish out the affection. When you're done, he happily trots off to do a little solo sniffing.He is very proudly pro drool, but we think it just adds to his charm. Heâs a medium-energy guy who can entertain himself or chill by your side. Come meet this lovable, low-key adventurer. Heâs been overlooked for far too long, and his forever home could be just one visit away.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BUCKY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BUCKY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the BUCKY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BUCKY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
