About this Dog
Jade is a beautiful girl who has been in shelter since 3/18/24. As hard as we try to make it comfortable for our pets the shelter is no substitution for a home, and itâs often pretty stressful here. Jade definitely feels that stress! Sheâs often tense, and sheâs still learning to trust people. She finds people walking up to her kennel to be very intimidating if she doesnât know them. This means that she doesnât put her best paw forward and she ends up making a bad first impression. Most people end up just continuing to walk by her. Sheâs much more confident and relaxed outside of her kennel. She definitely knows what a leash is. As soon as you show one to her sheâll calm down and wait for you to put it on her. Sheâs happy to amuse herself when loose in the yard by smelling everything around her. Sheâs too nervous to take treats from your hand, but she will let you pet her! When itâs time for Jade to return to her kennel, all that stress comes back to her. Weâre sure sheâd fare much better in a cozier environment.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, JADE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and JADE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, JADE’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, JADE’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
