Est DOB 11/1/2018 Approx 16lbs Odie is a friendly, sweet and silly boy! He’s never met a stranger and has loved all adults and children we have introduced him to. He is in a home with an 11 year old and 15 year old and has done great with younger children that have been in the home. Odie loves to play fetch (especially with toys that squeak) and he knows his sit and come command. He’s a very smart boy and learns expectations quickly. He really likes to be with his people whether it’s playing, riding in the car, playing outside or snuggling. Odie is in a foster home with other dogs of various sizes (12-45 lbs) and does well with them all. While he loves to plays with other dogs, larger dogs jumping at him or on him during play does make him nervous and he’s not a big fan. He loves to run outside with other pups and explore with them. Odie has been around cats without issue and is happy to sleep in a crate at night time. Please consider making this loving boy a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet. This can be found on our website at : Apply Now (almosthomepetrescue.org) $200 (including tax) adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care. All breed and size categorizations are estimates. If transporting out of TX, the total adoption cost will be $500.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, ODDIE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ODDIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ODDIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ODDIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ODDIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
