Axel – Soft Boy. Silly Soul. Full of Love. Hi there! I’m Axel, a 4-year-old, 46 lb orange and white Brittany with big brown eyes and an even bigger heart. I’m the kind of pup who will gently nuzzle into your side, wag my tail when you say my name, and maybe chase a butterfly or two just to make you smile. Here’s what makes me paw-sitively wonderful: I’m a softie through and through—gentle, affectionate, and sweet as a sugar cookie ️ I’m dreaming of a cozy bed, belly rubs, and a kind voice saying “good boy” I like other nice dogs, but I’m totally cool being your one and only cuddlebug I love the outdoors (and yes, I might try to reason with a squirrel or two) I’m neutered, healthy, up-to-date on all vaccines, and heartworm/tick negative My foster says I’m a “happy, huggable goofball”—I mean… who am I to argue? I’ve had some bumpy roads, but I’ve never stopped believing that my forever person is out there. I’m ready to give someone endless loyalty, gentle tail wags, and all the silly, soft-hearted love I’ve got. If you're looking for a tender soul with just the right amount of goofy charm... I’m your boy. The adoption fee for TX/Axel, who lives in Frisco, TX is $400, which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members. A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of TX/Axel. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and TX/Axel was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, TX/Axel’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the TX/Axel’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, TX/Axel’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
