About this Dog
We are looking for a new home for Sadie because our son was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident two weeks ago, and Sadie was his pet. His only daughter is a freshman at UT and cannot take pets with her to college. Sadie is staying with our daughter in Argyle TX temporarily. Our son has had Sadie since she was a puppy. Sadie is a 2.5-year-old Female (not been spade). She is a beautiful Belgian Malinois- Great Pyrenes mix. She has her shots and all puppy vaccines. She is smart, friendly, house trained, kennel trained, leash trained (she tends to pull when excited walking). She will sit and is working on other commands. She is very sweet with people and protective of her owners. She would do better in a one dog family due to her breed. She loves to go to the dog park and is social when playing with other dogs. Sadie is active and likes having space to walk, run, or go swimming. She also loves to cuddle. She loves bones / toys but likes to keep them to herself and not give them up. Sadie can sometime feel anxious when being alone for too long. We have found that with extra reassurance and her thunder jacket, she will calm down without much issue. Overall, Sadie is a very sweet and loving dog, perfect for a home with one pet.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sadie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sadie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sadie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sadie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
