About this Dog
Hi, I'm Willa Rose! I'm a 5-month-old pup, currently weighing around 25 pounds. I'm a Husky and Labradoodle mix--pretty cute, right? Since I'm still growing and my breeds are a bit of a wild card, no one's exactly sure how big I'll end up, but I promise to stay full of personality no matter what size I become! I'm an easygoing girl who goes with the flow. Car rides? No problem. I walk politely on a leash and really enjoy getting out and about. I'm still learning, though! I'm working on staying calm when there's a lot going on around me--things like loud noises, fast movements, or unfamiliar people. With some consistent training and patience, I'm improving every day. Right now, I'm being treated for a bad flea and tick infestation (ugh!). Once I'm feeling better, I'll start coming inside on a leash to explore--and that's when I'll get to meet the resident cats. Word is, one's spicy and the other's super chill, so I'll get the full feline experience! We'll find out soon if I'm cat-friendly. I love my toys, but I can be a bit possessive of them. It's playful, but it's still a form of resource guarding, so it's something my humans are keeping an eye on. They've started marker training with me--so far, I know that "YES" means something good is coming. I'm pretty proud of that! As I continue to heal and settle into this new life, I know more of my personality will shine through. I can't wait to share that with you. Love, Willa Rose A Note from Willa's Foster Mom: Willa Rosa is a sweet, smart, and sensitive pup who deserves a loving, structured home. Because of her mix, age, and developing behavior, we are looking for experienced dog owners who understand the importance of consistent training and ongoing enrichment. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Willa Rose is participating in the DFW Rescue Me guest dog program, so ongoing care and custody is provided by her foster, not by DFWRM.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Willa Rose GDP, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Willa Rose GDP's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Willa Rose GDP was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Willa Rose GDP’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Willa Rose GDP’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Willa Rose GDP’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
