About this Dog
Wacha is a 5 year old pittie mix, weighing in at about 50 lbs. She's spayed, house broken and potty trained; extremely playful, affectionate and cuddly! Wacha is an active, athletic girl that will be best paired with a family who provides the physical activity she so enjoys! Maybe introduce her to "dog sports" like agility, nose-work, or just a running partner. Wacha doesn't appreciate cats, and can be "dog selective". A home with small children wouldn't be good because of their unpredictability, but she loves older children and adults. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Wacha is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.

Adopt Wacha GDP and Receive Wacha GDP's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Wacha GDP's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Wacha GDP's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Wacha GDP, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Wacha GDP's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Wacha GDP was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Wacha GDP’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Wacha GDP’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Wacha GDP’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
