About this Dog
Boaz is a 6–7 year old mixed breed who has had a tough life. He spent his entire life neglected and confined to a backyard before I adopted him, hoping to finally give him the safe, loving home he deserves. Unfortunately, due to ongoing family issues, financial strain, and growing tension with my senior dog, I’m unable to provide the environment Boaz truly needs. This decision has been incredibly difficult and painful. Personality & Behavior: Boaz is a gentle, sweet, and docile boy. He’s very affectionate and enjoys both quiet cuddle time and outdoor play. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and small children (unknown for cats), and he’s shown zero aggression. He’s incredibly patient, knows how to share food and toys, and offers the best head tilts with his soft, soulful brown eyes. He is: Crate trained House trained Good on a leash Excellent on car rides Great at chilling on the couch or in the backyard with you Medical: Boaz is heartworm positive, but is currently being treated using the slow-kill method (Doxycycline and Advantage Multi topical). I will continue to fund his treatment until he tests negative. Other than heartworms, he’s in great health. Boaz just wants a person or family to love him the way he’s always deserved. He’s a special dog who would thrive in a calm, consistent environment.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bobo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bobo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bobo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bobo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
