About this Dog
APPLICATION REQUIRED from www.dashdog.org Adoption Fee $450 - the fee is NON-NEGOTIABLE and is not specific for any dog or puppy; it goes to the expenses of the organization as a whole* OUR APPLICATION IS ON www.dashdog.org and must be completed in order to set up a meeting. Our listed dogs ARE READY IMMEDIATELY; we only meet with families WHO ARE READY TO ADOPT! IF YOU APPLY and if WE APPROVE YOU it means we are assuming when you meet any of our dogs and fall in love you're ready to ADOPT AND HIM OR HER HOME! FINLEY Finley is an 18-month old Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix in need of a fun and active Forever home. She was saved from a shelter code-red list by a family wanting to help save her life. Her fosters have told us “Finley is a very sweet, affectionate dog. She is great with other dogs, cats AND our 2-year-old child! She’s still very puppy-like, full of energy and love.” Finley also loves to play with her people but also knows how to settle down and cuddle. Finley is also fully potty and kennel trained. Finley has been great with other dogs she meets, but unfortunately our older resident dog refuses to accept her. We know this is our own dog not Finley and believe she will make a great canine companion in a different home” DASH is looking for a herding-breed experienced home for Finley. She’s been very good with two young children, but we prefer older herding breed experienced kids if they live in the home (visitors welcome!) We think Finley would do best in a house with a yard and a male companion, buddy to play with; we love millennials and zoomers whose dogs are their “kids” for life or of course empty-nesters looking to add a Companion. If Finley seems like a great dog to join your home and family, please complete our adoption application on our website below, Then TEXT SARA:214-549-9905 So she can check your app and get back to you! Thank you www.dashdog.org General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.

Adopt Finley and Receive Finley's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Finley's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Finley's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Finley, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Finley's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Finley was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Finley’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Finley’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Finley’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
