Hunter’s story began when he was rescued from a shelter at just a few weeks old. As a bottle baby, Hunter was hand-raised and showered with love. Now he loves soaking up human attention and interaction. From day one in his foster home, he was the friendliest and playful kitten—ready for adventure, affection, and, of course, plenty of play. Hunter is a cuddler and he purrs up a storm the moment you scoop him up. He’s always enjoys a good hug or a belly rub. Hunter is always ready for playtime: he zooms through his favorite cat tunnel, surprising his foster siblings with sneak attacks from the peep holes, and he dashes up and down the cat tree like panther on the prowl. Hunter is ready to leap into the arms (and hearts!) of his forever family. He would absolutely love to be adopted with one of his foster siblings but would also thrive in a home with another playful feline friend. With his joyful personality and nonstop purrs, Hunter is guaranteed to bring a burst of joy and laughter into any home.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hunter was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hunter’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Hunter’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hunter’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
