Hello! My name is Montana and I was born in Texas. Go figure. My foster! I'm the strong, quiet, laid back type. Don't get me wrong = I am really good at wrestling the other kitties and chasing a ball or jumping to catch a feather (attached to a stick) that my human is in control of.....still trying to figure that one out. The point is I LOVE to play. I've heard about being adopted into a home with a forever family. I'm getting excited about that. Maybe a couple of kids and a really nice dog that likes cats and a house to make myself at home in! Won't you come visit with me? I know you won't be disappointed !! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MONTANA was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MONTANA’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the MONTANA’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, MONTANA’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
