Meet Eleanor Rigby (aka Ellie) â a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a spirit of adventure.Ellie is a curious, playful pup who thrives on being near her people. Whether it's exploring new places, trying new things, or simply hanging out at home, Ellie is always ready. She's got a goofy side tooâshe loves chasing balls (returning them is a work in progress!) and keeping herself entertained with her toys.Ellie adores her foster dog sister and is learning the joy of canine friendship. She can be a little cautious when meeting new dogs, but she warms up quickly and plays with enthusiasm. With people, Ellie is instantly friendly and affectionateâyouâll feel like sheâs known you forever.Sheâs house- and kennel-trained, walks well on a leash, and isnât much of a barker. She has great recall and responds well to gentle verbal correction, making her a quick learner. Sheâs currently working on âstayâ and picks up new cues with ease.With her medium energy level, sheâs just as happy on a hiking trail as she is curled up beside you at home. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *ELEANOR RIGBY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *ELEANOR RIGBY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *ELEANOR RIGBY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *ELEANOR RIGBY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
