Muffin's Foster Reports:`Muffin has come so far in her time with meâshe is doing well with house training, is easy to take for walks & on outings, loves dogs & people (including a few older kids she has met), and rides nicely in the car with a little encouragement getting in & out. Muffin is a social butterfly and would be happiest in a home with someone who is around a fair amount and she would love to have a dog friend! Bonus points if she can sleep in your room. She does great at home with the other pups during work hours as long as someone stops by for potty & play a few times. The only thing that seems to hurt her feelings is when I take my other dog on a walk but we are working on building confidence on short stints in the crate. She is also learning not to chew on anything but her toys, but she is just a baby so that is to be expected. In her free time, Muffin enjoys snuggling with me on the couch (snoring adorably) and patrolling the backyard for squirrels. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *MUFFIN was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *MUFFIN’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *MUFFIN’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *MUFFIN’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
