We got a call that 13 puppies and two moms were at risk of being brutally killed on a property in San Diego, Texas. They were reportedly dumped on a ranch and were killing the chickens. Thankfully we found two rescue to take the babies and one mom, but Nana still needs a home! She is very timid which makes sense considering her background. She’s learning it’s okay to go in the house and that humans aren’t so scary. Nana loves a good belly rub and will immediately roll over if she knows you’re going to give her one. She has met other dogs (outside of the ones she was rescued with) and doesn’t show any aggression, but she’s cautious and probably hasn’t been around other dogs very much, if at all. If you’re looking for a super sweet girl and have patience and understand that she will take time to feel comfortable, Nana might be the girl for you!

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Nana's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nana was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nana’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nana’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
