Hatch has been voted "Most Likely to be an Army Diesel Mechanic." He's game for whatever you've got going for the weekend and doesn't mind starting his weekends on Monday! He was born approximately on April 9, 2025, in the spring. He and his family were rescued in late June.If there's play going on, he runs to join in. Hatch especially loves to play with his brother, Pimento, and would love to be adopted with him if that's possible. (after all, two are much better than one). Hatch claims that "The Great Minnow Heist" of July 2025 wasn't his idea, but he doesn't care if you know that he participated and made off with his share of the freeze-dried minnows. (see in pictures)Both Hatch and Pimento were named after a pepper. We hope someone loves peppers and will adopt both of these precious boys together. There won't be a day that goes by that their antics don't make you laugh!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hatch was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hatch’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Hatch’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hatch’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
