Howdy folks! Let me introduce myself. My name is Auggie and I'm told I'm one tough lil' Texan. You see I have a crooked left front leg. My foot is frozen inward at the ankle joint. It probably happened when I was born...but I don't remember. It's not very pretty, but it doesn't slow me down one bit. I can run in the yard and chase squirrels with the best of them. I'm doing really well in my foster home and get along with all the other dogs. I'm cautious in new surroundings, but with a gentle coaxing and soft words, I settle in quickly. I'm kind of a lady's man and prefer them over men. My favorite thing to do is sit on the swing with my foster mom. I love to cuddle with her while she sings to me. AHHHH that's just the best! I have very good house manners and will do anything for a treat. Ideally, I would love to be adopted with my good friend Cricket, but I would do just fine on my own as well. If you need the perfect snuggle buddy, look no further than into my gorgeous brown eyes, because I'm your man!

Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the AUGGIE IN TEXAS’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, AUGGIE IN TEXAS’s balance will remain in our general fund.
