Pressley is a big sweetheart! No amount of hugs and kisses will ever be enough for her. She’s never met a stranger and will greet everyone she meets with love and excitement. There’s nothing Pressley loves more than cuddling up with her human on a cozy couch or bed. Incredibly playful and energetic, Pressley loves playing with other dogs and toys. She loves chasing a ball but is hesitant to give it back. Pressley prefers being the center of attention. She is a little nervous around cats as they’re new to her. Pressley is great with kids, she’s very sweet and loves to play with them. Pressley gets the zoomies and loves to run, so a fenced in yard would be best. Pressley is still learning how to be alone without worrying that her person isn’t coming back. She is perfectly house trained. Her herding tendencies tend to come out when she’s on a leash and she doesn’t like being confined to a crate, but she is incredibly intelligent so we believe with time, she will learn. Pressley is very motivated by treats and attention, and she’s a quick learner. Pressley would make a great addition to an active family. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pressley was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pressley’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Pressley’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pressley’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
