Date of birth: 6/30/2017 This quiet cutie prefers the calm side of life and tends to keep to himself at first—but don’t let that fool you. Once he feels safe and settled, he becomes an incredibly affectionate cuddle bug, especially if he's snuggled up with his brother or stretched out on your chest like a purring weighted blanket. He’s people-friendly but may need a little time to warm up. Give him that space, and you’ll be rewarded with his full trust and some of the best chin and ear-scratch snuggle sessions you’ve ever had. (Seriously—scratch behind his ears and watch him melt.) He’s a mix of cautious and courageous—he might jump at a loud sound but then bravely come back to investigate. Sensitive, sweet, and full of love, he’s looking for a calm home where he can blossom into the affectionate companion he’s meant to be. Diesel is bonded with his brother Vin and they must be adopted together. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Diesel was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Diesel’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Diesel’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Diesel’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
