Meet Shilo – A Brave Little Girl With a Heart Full of Love! Shilo is a 4-month-old, 24 pound Beagle/Lab mix with a story that starts in heartbreak but is filled with hope. She and her sisters were found abandoned on a remote stretch of the Natchez Trace Highway in Southern Tennessee — left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, a kind soul spotted them and contacted Critter Cavalry Rescue, who came to their rescue just in time. Despite her rough beginning, Shilo is pure sunshine. She’s a happy, spunky, and affectionate pup who loves life and everyone in it! Whether she’s sliding down the slide on the playset in her foster family's yard or playing tag with the 9- and 5-year-old kids in the home, Shilo’s tail never stops wagging. She’s also a world-class cuddler and would love nothing more than to snuggle in your lap after a fun play session. Shilo weighs about 26 pounds now and is expected to grow to around 45–50 pounds — the perfect medium-sized pup. She has a balanced energy level: playful when it’s time for fun and mellow when it’s time to relax. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with playmates (two-legged or four-legged!). She’s been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and fully vetted — all ready for her forever family to find her. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and PUPPY SHILOH was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, PUPPY SHILOH’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the PUPPY SHILOH’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, PUPPY SHILOH’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
