Lillypad, Pollywog, and Minnow were found late one afternoon and were in great distress with death looming for them all. Minnow was floating on a lillypad on the edge of the Koi pond, crying for help. His sister Lillypad ( Lilly for short) was on the edge of the pond soaking wet and Pollywog ran for the bushes as soon as he saw humans approaching. If not for Minnow's anguished cries, we are sure they would have suffered the same fate as their two siblings who had drowned in the pond earlier. Critter Cavalry Rescue was called by the two foster ladies who work with their rescue and asked if they could bring them home. It was an easy decision to make. Together we all wanted to help these three little survivors to have a safe haven for them to grow and be available for adoption. Koi pond kitten Minnow, is a scrappy adventurer. He is both independent and sweet, loves to chase, play peek-a-boo around furniture and is an adorable little stampede of one. A beautiful little leopard kitten to decorate your living and room and make your life oh so fun and interesting. Minnow is currently - 17 weeks old approximately 4 1/2 pounds, a brown and grey tabby male that is ready to be YOURS forever. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and KITTEN MINNOW was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, KITTEN MINNOW’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the KITTEN MINNOW’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, KITTEN MINNOW’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
