About this Dog
Hello world, my name is Rodger! I'm a strapping young lad of 8 weeks old. I'm only 8lb now, but I'm expected to be a medium sized guy when I grow up - probably 35-45lb. Mommy is a 60lb pittie mix, and daddy is a 10lb long haired chihuahua - I'm the biggest pup in my litter so maybe I'll try out for the football team! I know, I know. You're shaking your head and thinking, "no way that's the breed mix, that's crazy." Well that's what we were told when we were surrendered. Please don't feel bad for me. I may have had a little bit of a bumpy start, but I know I'm going to find a great home. I'm fun, a superb eater (I'm always the first pup to the food bowl and the last one to leave it hehehe), and did I mention I'm fun?! (There are a lot more super awesome things about me, but I'd like to appear modest.) Whatever person or family applies for me, I think they should know I'm a real catch. But they should also be prepared to teach me how to be the best boy I can be - I am young, so basic things like potty training, crate training, and leash walking are just some of the things I need to learn. My ideal home will be one with kids and/or another doggie buddy. I love to romp around with my siblings. What do you say you apply for me, and we maybe we can learn how to bring out the best in each other? I promise that my zest for life is infectious! xoxo Rodger
Contribute to Rodger's Stash!

100% of Rodger's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Rodger.
Adopt Rodger and Receive Rodger's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rodger's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Rodger's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Rodger, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rodger's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rodger was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rodger’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rodger’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rodger’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
