Meet Luna — The Little Lady with a Big Personality! Luna is a 1-year-old Boston Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit that lights up every room she’s in. This petite pup is the perfect mix of snuggly and spunky — she adores her chew toys and loves to wrestle and play with the other dogs in her foster home, no matter their size! Luna is wonderful with kids and gets along well with other dogs. (She hasn’t met any cats yet, so that’s still a mystery!) She’s about 90% house-trained and fully crate-trained, making her a great candidate for a smooth transition into her forever home. She’s also a superstar on leash walks and knows her basic manners, like “sit” and “down.” Luna is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready to find her perfect family. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Luna was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Luna’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Luna’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Luna’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
