Meet Arty! She is a 2 yr old Boxer mix, weighing about 45 lbs. She is petite in size despite her weight! This beautiful mama raised her babies at a shelter before coming to PAP. We told her she wouldn't have to do that again and she was very grateful! Arty LOVES LOVES LOVES tennis balls! She will play catch with you all day if you let her! She settles nicely in her crate. She is house trained. She is working on leash manners, but is food motivated so would love to continue learning how to be better. Arty would prefer to sleep quietly in your bed all night but could also sleep in her crate if you prefer. She has not been around cats in her current foster home, but was previously in a home with cats and chickens. She does well with other dogs, and currently being fostered with 3 large dogs. She is also good with kids! She knows her name, knows sit and is working on wait before throwing a toy. She is very trainable! She is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Arty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Arty’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Arty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Arty’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
