About this Cat
Meet Cheese, a 14-week-old sleek black kitten with a gentle spirit and a heart full of determination. Cheese has a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), also known as “wobbly cat syndrome.” While her coordination is a little off, she can get around quite well—using the litter box, playing, and exploring just like any other kitten. She’s just a bit clumsy, which only adds to her charm. Recently, Cheese has begun to find her voice and is growing more confident by the day. She would do best in a home with another friendly cat who can help her feel safe and show her the ropes. Because of her condition, she may need some occasional assistance with things like getting down from furniture, navigating stairs, or steadying herself during meals, but most of the time, she’s independent and capable. Cheese is looking for a loving, patient home that understands her special needs and is ready to support her as she continues to grow. If you’re ready to open your heart to a unique kitten with a wobbly walk and an unstoppable spirit, Cheese might be the perfect addition to your family. The kitten's birthday is May 2025. All have tested negative for Felv/FIV, up-to-date on age/weight appropriate vaccinations and treated for fleas/dewormed. All remaining initial vetting, including follow up vaccinations, neuter/spay and microchip, will be covered by the rescue. If you are interested in meeting a cat, the first step is to complete an online application located at animaladvocates.net (under the "Adopt" menu).Adopt one (or better yet, a pair!) and prepare to be charmed by their whiskered whimsy. A discounted adoption fee is offered when adopting a pair of kittens / cats from the rescue. Thank you for considering a rescue cat from Animal Advocates!

Adopt Cheese and Receive Cheese's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cheese's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Cheese's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Cheese, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cheese's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cheese was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cheese’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cheese’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cheese’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
