Our website is updated daily If you have previously adopted from NAR, send an email to [email protected]. We keep all applications on file, there is no need to fill out another. Mia Approx. date of birth: 4/23/2024 Spayed Vaccinated for RHDV2 Hi there, I'm Mia! I found myself in this shelter after a magical adventure. I was nibbling on some clover when a gust of wind blew a peculiar leaf into my path. It shimmered and glowed, and before I knew it, I was hopping through time! I saw dinosaurs, knights, even astronauts! It was thrilling but also a bit tiring for a rabbit like me. I hopped back to my time, but found myself in this new place, a rescue. I'm curious and friendly, always ready for a game. I'm a bit goofy too, which adds to my charm. I had some tics when I arrived, but those creapy buggers are all removed. I feel so much better now. I promise to fill your home with energy and playfulness. Adopt me, and let's create magical adventures together!Mia was rescued off the streets at a tiny weight of 2 pounds. She is lop wantabe. Ears sometimes come down and sometimes don't. We pulled 28 yes 28 tics off of her after she was rescued. She is a bit timid but with the right person she would make a great addition. She has good litter box habitis. Mia is spayed, vaccinated for RHDV2. She is located in Northeast Philadelphia. Proof of proper habitat a must. Adoption fee is 150.00Rabbits are prey animals and it's natural for them to hide. They need an extra-large habitat for room to run around and play. We can make suggestions. Potential adopters will be asked to provide proof of habitat and other provisions (see below). We ask that you research owning Rabbits and be fully aware of what is involved. They require lots of time and space. Make sure you have no allergies to them or hay that is fed.Rabbits can be extremely social animals, and require alot if attention. Rabbits live an average of 8 to 12 years, sometimes longer. Please take this time commitment into consideration when looking to adopt a Rabbit. Please fill out a Rabbit Application. Adopt Mia and Receive Mia's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mia's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Mia's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Mia, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mia's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mia’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mia’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
